Creating a Copy of a User

When you create a copy of an existing user everything is copied except user specific information such as the user name, e-mail address, and other personal information.

You cannot copy a Retired user. However, you can use a Retired user's profile as the template for a new user.

To create

  1. Open the User Detail view of the user you want to copy.
  2. In the Common Tasks pane, click Copy User.
  3. Click OK to confirm.

The new user appears in the user list as <Copy of user name>.

  1. Change the user profile with information specific to the new user.
  2. Click SaveClosed.
